Pastor Fate White Passes Away

Kansas City, MO

 

Dear Friends,

           

Pastor Fate White Jr. passed away last week. Pastor Fate White Jr. is the father of Rev. Alfred White who serves with the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc on the Evangelism Committee.

 

Pastor Fate White Jr. was the  proud pastor of the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Kansas City, Mo. Pastor White was a strong supporter of the National Baptist Laymen's Movement for many years. Pastor White attended many of our meetings and was with us on many of our trips.

At our National Baptist Convention Winter Board Meeting in Jackson, Ms. January 12-15,2015 a new National Baptist Laymen's President took office in the person of Brother Willie Burke, from Edison, NJ

Brother Willie Burke has served the Laymen's Movement as Vice President at-Large for a number of years under the leadership of our past President Harold Simmons who served the Laymen's Movement for 14 years. (Praise God for his service)Let us continue to pray for the National Baptist Laymen's Movement.
