| Dear Friends: Robert C. Sumpter, 82, member of the New Hope House Of The Living God Church has passed away on February 5, 2012. Sumpter was best known for being the bass singer for the renowned New Hope Male Chorus who gain great popularity during the 1980's and early 90's. The Male Chorus was a staple feature of the Far West Walter Cade, Jr. Regional Workshops. Sumpter was a faithful supporter of the Paradise State Laymen of Arizona as well as a member and supporter of the Paradise Baptist State Convention and Central District Association.
