| Emerson Turner | Atlanta, GA -- The National Baptist Laymen's Movement Prison Ministry under the leadership of Emerson Turner (left) has a full schedule of ministering and witnessing activities for the upcoming convention session in Atlanta the week of September 3 - 7, 2012. Turner doesn't normally get these many opportunities in a week in the city where the convention convenes had this to say, "God has just been awesome in orchestrating the chain-of-events in such an orderly fashion to afford us these opportunities to carry the gospel to those who are incarcerated". There will be a great opportunity for persons who have always had the desire to experience a prison ministry on Friday, September 7th. The warden at the West Central Integrated Treatment Facility, Edd Sanders, has granted the unusual dispensation of waiving background checks. The only requirement is that the National Prison Ministry have your name so that it can be placed on the "clearance" list for the institution. Mr. Sanders is especially interested in his residents seeing married couples ministering together. This will be a great opportunity for husband and wife teams. Sanders said, "this provides the role models that many of his residents have not seen".

Jerry Conner Male and Female Evening Time 901 Rice Street NW Atlanta, GA Wednesday - September 5th Fulton County Jail Chaplain Rev.
