She is the wife of Colorado/Wyoming state laymen President Emeritus, Deacon Leon Lewis. Lewis served faithfully as the president of the Western States laymen for over 10 years and continues to actively serve at the local, state and national level of the laymen's movement.     Ms. Verda Lewis has gone home to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness.
