District Laymen President Marion Wimberly Retires From Government Service

Marion Wimberly

Lansing, KS -- After 41 years of government service, including 18 years of ORA service, Supervisory Investigator Marion Wimberly, will retire effective December 31, 2011.  Wimberly has been a loyal civil servant throughout his life.

Wimberly's service to our country began with the United States Army where he reached the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Army Chemical Corps where he was a nuclear warfare biological/chemical defense specialist.    He wrote several field manuals on decontamination procedures and built a skill set required for an FDA investigator. After 23 years, Wimberly retired a decorated combat veteran.
