New Era District Laymen Workshop April 8th and 9th

Gentlemen,

President Luther Lewis, at the end of his tenure, would like to host another Laymen Workshop on April 8th (7pm to 9pm) and April 9th (8-12noon).

It will be held at Progressive Missionary Baptist Church 2945 Bales. We have done a great job in the past in supporting and President Lewis expects the same from us this year. Our presenter will be Deacon Eddie Taylor of Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he is the State President. He is also 3rd Vice President of the National Laymen. This is another great opportunity to get great teaching in our own backyard.

President Lewis is asking that we start recruiting men to come from each church. We would like to have preliminary numbers by our next Laymen meeting on March 10th at Westminster (6pm). The fee is only ten dollars and it covers the lunch. I'm attaching a sign-up sheet that can be used at your church.

Bring what you have to the Laymen's meeting on next Thursday (10th) so we can see where we are. This workshop is open to Pastors, Ministers, Women and Jr. Laymen.

Please let me know of any questions.

Also, if your church has a representative for the District Bible Bowl on March 19th, I need to know name by March 12th.

Thanks

Laymen Coordinator
