National Mid-Winter Board Housing Open Now
Millennium Maxwell  House Hotel
Laymen Headquarters 

 

Dear Friends:


The National Baptist Convention Housing Bureau has opened up the Designated Housing.
The laymen's headquarter hotel is the:
Millennium Maxwell House Hotel
2025 Rosa L. Parks Blvd.
Nashville, TN

It is approximately 10 minutes from the Baptist World Center at 1700 Baptist World Center Drive.

The laymen have 60 rooms. The rate is $95.00 plus taxes per night. The deadline is December 16th before the hotel opens up to the general convention public.

Follow National Laymen Activities on Social Networks

Dear Friends:


Over the last couple of years, we have been broadcasting National Laymen activities periodically over the social networks, i.e. Facebook. Now we are ready to take it to another level to bring members, friends, supporters and followers up-to-date, real-time news and information.

The first event will be this weekend's, September 23 - 25, Walter Cade, Jr. Southeast Workshop held in High Point, NC. The states participating will be Georgia, Florida, Virginia, South Carolina and North Carolina. The networks utilized will be Facebook, Facebook Messenger, Twitter and the new Google+.

 

You will be the first to see photo highlights of the Friday Night Youth Program, the General Assembly speakers, the banquet speaker and street service activities. You will be the first to know who won the trophy for the state with the most delegates.

Below will give you instructions on how to friend and follow us.

Friend us on Facebook. Be sure to select the Thad Jones with the laymen's logo. I have three.

 

Download Facebook Messenger (the SMS Text messenger on your smart phone. Friend us. The one with the laymen's logo.

 

Follow us on Twitter. Search for hashtag Thad Jones. Twitter just updated where you can add photos now.

 

Google+ has been beta testing for two months. Just this week they have opened it up to general public. Search for me and add me to your circle of friends.
